INFORMATION REGARDING FESTIVAL CONCERTS

The spaciousness of the castle grounds and the generous dimensions of the Wolkenturm make it possible to hold a top quality Grafenegg Festival - in compliance, of course, with all official regulations and so in a considerably altered form.

Below you'll find answers to many questions regarding your concert tickets and the relaunch of advance sales for the modified Grafenegg Festival. Should you not find what you're looking for, feel free to send a message to tickets[at]grafenegg.com. Please note that processing times may be longer than usual due to the high number of inquiries.

You can find the new programme Grafenegg Festival 2020 here>

We kindly ask you to familiarise yourself with the Rules of Conduct before your concert visit.

WHY DO ALL FESTIVAL CONCERT PURCHASES HAVE TO BE VOIDED?

The Grafenegg Festival can go ahead this year, but in a significantly modified form. Adhering to official regulations means substantially reducing seating capacity; and, as the strictest requirements also apply to the stage, significant modifications must also be made to programmes and artists. We must therefore void all tickets purchased so far and put the programme on sale again in its modified form.

HOW ARE TICKETS FOR CANCELLED FESTIVAL CONCERTS REFUNDED?

Before the sales relaunch you well receive a print@home voucher for the value of the tickets you purchased for the Grafenegg Festival. This voucher can be used immediately. If you prefer to have this amount refunded, please send a message to tickets@grafenegg.com stating your customer and/or invoice number along with your IBAN.

If you would like to support the many youth development activities at Campus Grafenegg, you also have the possibility of donating an equivalent tax-deductible amount for this purpose.

WHY CAN I ONLY PURCHASE TWO TICKETS PER CONCERT?

Due to official guidelines, we have had to reduce the seating capacity at the Wolkenturm by approximately 50 %. Nevertheless, we want to make it possible for all customers to purchase tickets. Furthermore, the safety policy dictates that we perform contact tracing, so that we can pass contact details of our customers to the health authorities at any time.

If you would like to purchase more than two tickets, you are welcome to send an email asking to be placed on the waiting list to tickets[at]grafenegg.com after sales have relaunched. Please provide us with contact details of the person whose name should appear on the waiting list (name, address, telephone number).

HOW CAN I BOOK TICKETS?

Without exception, tickets for festival concerts can only be ordered through our website. Unfortunately, we are unable to process ticket requests by phone, in person or by email.

WHY ARE TICKETS ONLY AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE ONLINE?

Contactless purchasing serves to protect our customers and our employees. Out of responsibility to them, we want to avoid situations in which people can come into physical contact.

Online sales are the only way to allow a pre-sales launch that is even and fair for all customers, at the same time and under the same conditions.

This also facilitates the efficient registering of consent to our new terms and conditions and Covid-19 rules of conduct.

FROM WHEN CAN I BUY TICKETS?

From 15 June 2020: Patrons of the Grafenegg Festival (memberships for summer 2020 can no longer be acquired)

From 29 June 2020: Advance sales for current GRAFENEGG-Card holders (19-20 season cards can no longer be purchased)

From 13 July 2020: Purchasers of previous festival concerts

From 27 July 2020: General advance booking

Can I obtain membership to make my purchase?

New members are always welcome under normal circumstances.

However, as we are currently faced with numerous restrictions, we have taken the decision not to issue either new memberships or new GRAFENEGG-Cards for the summer season.

By doing so, we can keep the numbers of members in the different categories the same as they were when sales launched last autumn, thus maintaining the same level of fairness as then.

How can I redeem my print@home voucher?

The code printed on your voucher can be entered directly into the shopping cart. Any remaining balance can be paid by credit card, Klarna or PayPal. If the value of your voucher exceeds that of the tickets purchased, you will automatically receive a voucher for the remaining difference, either by post or via print@home.

How can I register online?

If you have already received an email from us regarding the summer cancellations/alterations, your email address will have automatically been saved in our system. You will either already have a password or will be able to create one on the website during the registration process.

If you have not yet made an online purchase from us, we recommend that you try logging in before sales begin and contacting our ticket office if you encounter any problems.

If you belong to one the categories 'Grafenegg Festival Patrons', 'GRAFENEGG-Card holders' or 'Ticket purchasers of previous festival concerts', you must log-in using the exact email address linked with that group, as it is only possible to purchase tickets in advance with one of these memberships.

What should I do if I have problems in the web shop?

Have you forgotten your password? You can request a new one when logging in.

Membership not recognised? Please check if the email address entered is the same as the one used in our last mailings to you.

Our ticket office will be happy to assist during opening hours on +43 1 586 83 83.

How are seats allocated?

On our seating plan are two-seat and single-seat places, each separated by a single seat.
If the availability is already scarce and there are no more two-seats, you can add 2 single-seats to the shopping cart. The best place booking will automatically select the individual places with the shortest distance from each other.

How can I purchase wheelchair places?

Wheelchair places can be requested by email. The same sales start dates apply.

What happens in the case of bad weather?

There is no alternative venue in case of inclement weather. Concerts can also take place in bad weather; they may also be cancelled until shortly before they begin or interrupted at any time after they have started because of weather conditions. Please visit grafenegg.com on the concert day to see if a concert has been cancelled. The ticket price be refunded for cancelled concerts or concerts interrupted during the first half.

Guests are advised to bring along warm and weatherproof clothing. Umbrellas are not allowed as they obstruct visibility. In case of rain, ponchos are provided on seats free of charge.

Is there an evening box office?

There is no regular evening box office on concert days.

How does the concert visit proceed?

Starting from three hours before the concert begins, access to the grounds will only be possible with a valid ticket.

The checking of tickets is contactless.

Admission to the Wolkenturm will be controlled using colour-coded waiting areas, 30 minutes before concert start for the seated area and 10 minutes before concert start for the lawn pitches, following the instructions of the ushers.

Each seat or place on the lawn is assigned a specific waiting area indicated on your concert ticket.

You may go to your waiting area at any time, but no later than at the time time indicated on your ticket. There is a separate bar in each waiting area and adequate space to linger.

The castle grounds - behind the castle and Wolkenturm - are also ideal for strolling or picnicking until the indicated time. Please do not enter any other waiting areas or linger between waiting areas for any length of time.

There will be no sale of programme booklets.

All concerts are held without an interval.

Following the concert, the seating and lawn areas are to be vacated only by following the instructions of the ushers, after which you will be asked to leave the grounds.

What hygiene measures must I observe?

Please always maintain a distance of one metre from persons who are not from your household and avoid crowding, especially at entrances, exits and the bars.

Please observe the current general hygiene regulations such as sneezing etiquette, regular washing or disinfecting of hands etc. Disinfectant dispensers are available on the grounds.

Please use the restrooms in the Auditorium before the concert begins. The Wolkenturm restrooms are only available for emergencies.

On the day of the concert, please consult the latest guidelines regarding the wearing of mouth and nose protection. This information is also available at grafenegg.com.

If any of the following applies to you, please do not attend the concert. The cost of your ticket will be refunded in full:

- if you are feeling unwell

- if you are ill

- if you have had contact with a person who has Covid-19

- if there is illness or reason to suspect illness in your immediate social or professional environment.

We reserve the right to make changes to or relax these measures according to official guidelines.

Many thanks for your cooperation!
