European Union Youth Orchestra · Lorenza Borrani · Paul Watkins · Kai Frömbgen · Stefan Schweigert · Bernard Haitink

Haydn · Bruckner

When the «grand seigneur» of conducting Bernard Haitink meets the young musicians of the European Union Youth Orchestra, a dialogue between infinite experience and boundless curiosity always follows. This time, the Youth Orchestra and its Conductor Laureate take on Haydn’s «Sinfonia concertante». Haydn, a European at heart, premiered his «Sinfonia» in London.

Bernard Haitink is considered one of the leading Bruckner experts of our time. Here he performs his 7th Symphony, with which the 60-year-old composer finally achieved his international breakthrough.
