The magnificent mezzo-soprano Joyce DiDonato, acclaimed star of last festival summer, has been working for a better world for many years. In the visionary program «Eden,» she harnesses the magic of theater and the power of music to inspire intense reflection on our relationship with nature. She is supported by the ensemble Il pomo d'oro under the direction of Maxim Emelyanychev in this staged concert. The musical arc spans from Georg Friedrich Händel and Christoph Willibald Gluck to Gustav Mahler. An event that goes to the heart!
