Introduction/abstract

Scharoun Ensemble Berlin

SCHUBERT · MOZART · BEETHOVEN

Formed from the ranks of the Berliner Philharmoniker, the Scharoun Ensemble upholds the diversity of chamber music. Beethoven’s Septet has always been popular, not least with the composer himself, who compared it to Haydn’s «Creation ». The Septet is complemented by the equally entrancing melody of Mozart’s legendary Clarinet Quintet.
