Today the historic State Apartments in the castle are available to you for your event. The Knight’s Hall, Library and Garden Hall positively breathe history and lend your event a quite special flair. You can use the rooms individually or in combination for up to 220 guests. The elegant rooms on the bel étage (State Apartments West), with their panelled walls and sumptuous wallpapers, offer a generous 350 m² of space for your guests’ enjoyment.

First floor, castle

On the first floor of Grafenegg Castle we’ve created 11 barrier-free seminar rooms, divided into the West, South and East rooms, which guarantee the most modern standards and undisturbed tranquillity. Thanks to the special acoustic equipment, the rooms are ideal for use as musical rehearsal and warm-up rooms as well as seminar rooms. Between 30 and 80 people can be accommodated in the individual rooms. Each of the South rooms has space for about 50 people in pleasant surroundings. The Castle Café is next to the seminar rooms. Breaktime catering for your event is available there on request. The elegant round ceiling vault of the seminar rooms in the east wing creates a stimulating contrast to the state-of-the art conference equipment. The Gustav Mahler Hall with its historical paintings is often used for catering or as a foyer. Each of the four rooms in the east wing can accommodate 50 people.

The enchanting inner Courtyard is the centrepiece of the romantic fairy-tale castle of Grafenegg. Here is where the castle’s eventful history over the centuries becomes especially clear. Welcome your guests with a fanfare from the tower brass ensemble! The Castle Courtyard can be used all year round for events with up to 600 people – a range of bad-weather variants guarantees that your event will be go on whatever the conditions.

Traditional, down-to-earth, rustic. That’s the style of the castle’s own Heuriger, or wine tavern. The cosy, dark wooden benches and tables invite you to sample a nice drop from the wine edition of our partner traditional wineries.

The culture of the Heuriger, or wine tavern, has a long history here. Indulge your guests in the ancient vaults with delicious treats from the region and sample our own Grafenegg Wine Edition from the traditional wineries of Österreichische Traditionsweingüter. At just under 80 m², there’s space to host around 70 guests. The rustic tables and benches seat up to 96 people. The Castle Heuriger also has a 30-m² kitchen for you to use in your catering.

Our little treasure. Grafenegg’s Renaissance chapel exudes a very special charm with its deep blue «starry heaven» and late-Gothic winged altar – an exclusive and intimate setting for your wedding ceremony.

After the Knight’s Hall, the castle’s romantic private chapel is probably the most important historical space in Grafenegg. Visitors are equally entranced by both.

The Renaissance building, with its late-Gothic altar and Gothic paintings on the side walls, and the classicist statues of the Apostles are what gives the chapel its special charm. If you’re looking for an intimate setting for your wedding ceremony, you’ll find no more fitting venue. It has space for up to 70 people.
