On the Grafenegg Family Day, everything revolves around music, fairy-tales and the imagination. Listen to excerpts from Humperdinck's «Hansel and Gretel», Tchaikovsky's «Nutcracker» and many other well-known melodies. Let the melodies carry you off to a musical fairy-tale world and be enchanted by the magical narratives of storyteller Sandra Pires.
More Concerts invite the young audience to listen, sing and dance along. Write a new fairy-tale together with author Erika Kronabitter and two cellists, learn how to play or even create an instrument together with musicians from the Tonkünstler Orchestra or simply learn why a piano has black and white keys.
Furthermore, loads of interactive sound installations in the park will guarantee young and old a new listening experience; your friendly Grafenegg guide offers backstage tours that will give you insights about otherwise unknown facts and stories about Grafenegg Castle.
For the smallest ones, there is a baby oasis in the shadowy park, where parents can rest or make music with their little ones.
