YELLOW LOUNGE IN COOPERATION WITH DEUTSCHE GRAMMOPHON

Top-class artists of classical music and jazz meet stars of club culture and inspire the audience with a completely new mixture of different genres, of course away from the classical concert setting - that is the principle of a Yellow Lounge. The highlight is the live act. In Grafenegg, Kian Soltani and his long-time artistic partner Aaron Pilsan perform in the Sattelkammer.

When Kian Soltani released his debut on Deutsche Grammophon four years ago, there was great excitement in the music world. The young cellist had conquered audiences and critics in no time with his album «Home». There was talk of a «masterful command of the instrument» (FONO FORUM), «a nuanced tone and expressiveness that are unparalleled» (KULTUR), even of a new «star in the cello sky» (SWR2).

The program includes sonatas by Claude Debussy, Dmitri Shostakovich, Franz Schubert, Fritz Kreisler and an original composition by Kian Soltani, from his current solo album «Cello Unlimited». As DJ Samir H. Köck is at the mixing desk, known since Austria's first clubbing Soul Seduction in the eighties, he has since then also made a name for himself as the editor of 23 music albums and as a music journalist (Die Presse, Mixology).
