Ink Still Wet

Brad Lubman transforms the composer-conductor workshop INK STILL WET into a laboratory of sound.

Brad Lubman transforms the composer-conductor workshop INK STILL WET into a laboratory of sound. Now a fixture on the contemporary music scene, this year’s INK STILL WET workshop is led by US composer Brad Lubman.

How do you know when a work is complete? How can you find a sound for what has never been heard? How can you convey your vision to an orchestra? Lubman explores these questions in dialogue with the young musicians, saying: «We were young once, too, and it was important to meet people who helped you and who challenged you».

The workshop culminates in a free concert  in the Auditorium with the Tonkunstler Orchestra – welcome to an adventure in sound!

Please note: The application process for INK STILL WET 2017 (18 to 22 August) is closed. The applicants have received a positive notice including further course information or a negative notice. Please also read the course information closely.
