Christian-Frédéric Bloquert's Selection
«This playlist is a pretty eclectic mix, I don’t think I’ve ever put all these together before. It contains a couple pieces that I go back to over and over as a composer, pieces I am listening to now for inspiration, and some guilty/not so guilty pleasures.»
«Métropole I» for orchestra (2025)
World premiere«The idea for Métropole had been in the back on my head for a while and I’m so glad I got to realise it. At its heart, it is only the expression of a single motif or idea, it doesn’t really tell a story as much as it tries to capture a feeling at a moment in time.»
