Noé Gillerot / Ink Still Wet 2026

«May we introduce you …?»

Published: 20 August 2026

Get to know Noé Gillerot one of the five participants from this year's Ink Still Wet workshop, which Composer in Residence Olga Neuwirth will lead.
«I hope to leave the workshop with a completed orchestral piece that has been thoroughly tested, refined, and brought to its full potential. I look forward to learning from Olga Neuwirth and Brad Lubman, whose artistic approaches I deeply admire. I expect this experience to sharpen my orchestral technique, expand my expressive vocabulary, and provide insights that will guide my future work. Having the chance to engage in a real-time exchange with musicians is, for me, the most meaningful form of artistic growth.»

Biography

Noé Gillerot is a 25 year old composer and conductor. He earned three master’s degrees from Arts2 – Conservatoire royal de Mons in composition, orchestral conducting, and music theory. Noé Gillerot’s music is diverse: sometimes pure, sometimes applied, for the stage or concert, sophisticated or more popular. Yet it always seeks emotion and authenticity, aiming to approach the «essential».
