Programme description
As part of the Grafenegg Advent, the annual Advent choral concert Niederösterreichisches Adventsingen organised by Volkskultur Niederösterreich is a well-esteemed highlight during the Advent season. At this time of the year, when the yearning for traditions and contemplation is especially great, we enjoy familiar ancient customs and well-known melodies. The music program dwells upon the main themes of the Christmas season – from the Annunciation to the Adoration of the Shepherds.
Outstanding music groups like the horn ensemble HornWYbbs or the powerful choir Chorszene NÖ Young Coir, formed by five extraordinary youth choirs, convey a peaceful and solemn atmosphere with their artistically demanding and authentic interpretations. Enjoy a break from the annual Christmas hustle and bustle with the traditional music ensemble Stubenmusik Berger and immerse yourself in the subtle charm of the Advent season in Grafenegg, hosted by Erwin Steinhauer.
The concert ticket includes admission to Grafenegg Advent on the day of the concert.
