Sommernachtsgala

In 2007, the first Midsummer Night's Gala marked the grand opening of the Wolkenturm, the new stage in the Castle Grounds of Grafenegg. This concert event at the beginning of summer quickly became one of the most beloved traditions in this country of music.
Once again in 2027, the Tonkunstler-Orchestra will present a varied and colourful programme featuring symphonic gems and famous arias and duets. Tonkünstler chief conductor Fabien Gabel will be at the podium for the third time, accompanied by three world stars from opera and concert. French tenor Benjamin Bernheim is one of the absolute masters of his craft thanks to his flawless vocal technique and impeccable phrasing. Ludovic Tézier, also from France, has established himself as one of the leading baritones of our time and performs on the world's major stages with a repertoire ranging from Rossini over Verdi to Wagner. With her interpretative maturity, extraordinary musicality and unmistakable violin tone, Oslo-born violinist Vilde Frang proved her exceptional talent very early on. The Midsummer Night's Gala, presented with wit and charm by Teresa Vogl, promises a magical start to the summer season.
