2025Cuore Piano Trio
The Cuore Piano Trio was praised by Musikfreunde Magazine for their «brilliant» debut at the Wiener Musikverein in 2022. Composed of Zuzanna Budzyńska (violin), Antoni Orłowski (cello), and Szymon Ogryzek (piano), the trio was accepted as an aspirant ensemble to ECMA in June 2024. Their debut album, «Never Twice the Same» (KNS Classical) was released in January 2024. They hold the mdw Artist title, as well as the Ensemble in Residence title of the Canadian PRISMA Festival.
The trio has performed across Europe and North America, including festivals in Canada, Austria, and Poland. They debuted as concerto soloists with Jyväskylä Sinfonia in 2023. They have won multiple international prizes and were named Ensemble of the Year 2022 by Le Dimore del Quartetto. Based in Vienna, they study at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna.
Motus Quartett
The Motus Quartet was founded in October 2022 and consists of Tim de Vries, Karla Križ, Erin Pitts and Domonkos Hartmann. They met during their studies in Vienna, where the quartet currently studies with Johannes Meissl at the University for Music and Performing Arts Vienna (mdw). Further musical impulses have come from Hatto Beyerle, Eckart Runge, the Jerusalem Quartet, Peter Schuhmayer, the Danish String Quartet, Tim Frederiksen and Avedis Kouyoumdjian, among others.
The Motus Quartet regularly takes part in ECMA (European Chamber Music Academy) and Musethica sessions all over Europe. The ensemble got awarded two prizes at the 2023 International Summer Academy of the mdw (isa): the Artis Quartet Award and the Viennese Classicism Award. In april 2023, the quartet made its Vienna Konzerthaus debut in the Schubert Hall, followed by their Musikverein Vienna debut in March 2024 and their Concertgebouw Amsterdam debut in October 2024. Recent concert engagements brought the quartet to Asia, North America and most of Europe.
Tim de Vries performs on a violin made by Lorenzo Storioni (Cremona, 1793). Karla Križ plays on a composite Andrea Guarneri violin (Cremona, C17th).
Osimun Quartet
Osimun Quartet is a group of young Spanish saxophonists based in Cologne, Germany. They are members of the European Chamber Music Academy (ECMA) and the Netherlands String Quartet Academy (NSKA), where they receive guidance from renowned musicians such as Quatuor Ébène, Eberhard Feltz, Johannes Meissl, and Patrick Jüdt, among others.
They have performed across Europe—including Spain, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, France, and Romania—in prestigious venues such as the Concertgebouw and Muziekgebouw in Amsterdam, the Muziekgebouw in Eindhoven, and De Bijloke in Ghent.
Winners of the Storioni Competition, recipients of a Dörken Foundation scholarship, and finalists in competitions such as the Grachtenfestival in Amsterdam and Juventudes Musicales of Spain, the quartet expands its repertoire with original transcriptions and collaborations with composers such as Charlotte Bray and Arjan Linker, whose work they premiered during the first concert of the tour that earned them a place as finalists in the Dutch Classical Talent 2024/25 competition. The final will take place on June 1, 2025.
Quartetto Werther
Founded in 2016, the Quartet has collaborated with the prestigious Kammermusik Basel, the Società del Quartetto di Milano, the Società dei concerti di Milano, the Società dei Concerti di Trieste, the Festival dei Due Mondi, the International House of Music Moscow, the Goetheanum CH, the Festival Musikdorf Ernen etc.
Quartetto Werther won the 39th «Abbiati - Farulli» Prize, the «Premio Sinopoli» for the year 2022, and they received a «special distinction for their exceptional chamber music skills», as a recognition from Accademia Nazionale di S. Cecilia.
They have won prizes at the International Chamber Music Competitions «Trio di Trieste» 2019, Pinerolo 2023 and «G. Bergamo» 2024 in Lugano.
Since 2018 the Quartetto Werther is a member of «Le Dimore del Quartetto». In 2021 they recorded the two Faurè quartets under Brilliant Classics and in May 2025 their new CD will be released by Genuin.
Trio Hannari
Since its foundation in the winter of 2020, Trio Hannari has been winning over audiences with its honest style, in which music comes first. This has also been noticed by several competition juries: At its official joint concert debut in Frankfurt am Main, the trio won the Lenzewski Foundation Prize in February 2021 and the 1st prize at the Mendelssohn Bartholdy University Competition in Berlin in September of the same year, followed by other prizes shortly after. Highlights of the trio‘s work have been the debut in Elbphilharmonie, Konzerthaus Berlin and Alte OperFrankfurt, video and audio productions and numerous concerts in Germany. Currently Trio Hannari is studying at the HfMDK Frankfurt in the class of Prof. Angelika Merkle (concert degree) and is aspirant ensemble of the European Chamber Music Academy.
Trio Resonantia
Founded in 2024, Trio Resonantia consists of three passionate and sought-after chamber musicians with a mutual goal: to resonate with the lives of the audience through their music.
Trio Resonantia's interpretations are characterised by liveliness and passion, both with standard chamber music repertoire as well as with new music. They have worked with the Austrian composer Johanna Doderer on her Piano Trio No 3. Their curiosity in historical performance practice has led to a close collaboration with violinist and researcher Clive Brown.
The Trio Resonantia studies at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna with Johannes Meissl. Furthermore the trio receives valuable guidance from Avedis Kouyoumdjian, Claus-Christian Schuster (Altenberg Trio), Peter Schuhmayer (Artis Quartet) and Evgeny Sinaiski.
Trio Sheliak
Founded in Florence in 2019, Trio Sheliak is passionately dedicated to chamber music. Awarded the prestigious Abbiati Prize 2024, over the years it won numerous prizes, including Third Prize at the Gianni Bergamo Classic Music Award 2024, the Alberto Burri Prize 2023, the Luigi Nono Prize 2023 and the Filippo Nicosia Prize 2022. In 2024 the Trio completed two Chamber Music Masters in Bern and Luzern, and is now studying in Bern with Patrick Jüdt, in the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia and the Conservatory of Parma.
Turicum Quartet
Turicum is the ancient name of Zurich, where the quartet was founded in 2021. Four voices from Belgium, Poland, Israel and Switzerland, forming a vibrant unity.
In 2023, the Turicum Quartet won 2nd prize at the Szymanowski Competition (no 1st prize awarded), with their Medici TV-streamed performance gaining high acclaim. In 2025, they are among the 11 quartets selected for the Wigmore Hall Competition.
Highlights include their Tonhalle Zurich debut, NOSPR Katowice, Mizmorim Festival with the Gringolts Quartet, and Ticino Musica Residency (2024). They currently study in Basel with Rainer Schmidt and Silvia Simionescu and are Villa Musica fellows. The Turicum Quartet is very grateful for the guidance of Ilya Gringolts (Gringolts Quartet), Axel Schacher (ex-Belcea Quartet) and Gregor Sigl (Artemis Quartet).
