Description
As the seasons turn and summer sounds begin, we move from the Auditorium to the Wolkenturm. As always with a deluxe cast of performers, the Midsummer Night’s Gala brings together Angel Blue, soprano and double Grammy-winner, and Bogdan Volkov, one of the leading lyrical tenors of our time. The outstanding Salzburg cellist Julia Hagen bagged the prestigious «UBS Young Artist Award» in 2024. The Tonkunstler Orchestra with Music Director Fabien Gabel provide the appropriate orchestral splendour. The varied, colourful programme of orchestral pieces, arias, duets and concertante performances, sometimes virtuosic, sometimes pensive, full of wit and joy, is the perfect opener for the coming anniversary summer at the Wolkenturm.
